an angel loved
AN ANGEL IS DREAMING A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM OF A MIDNIGHT SUN THAT SHONE IN A FORGOTTEN, FARAWAY LAND OF A MORE ANCIENT, ATRAVISTIC WORLD, A LAND WHERE TIME STOOD STILL AND DARKNES NEVER CAME, ONLY A STRANGE AND MAGICAL TWILIGHT TOUCHED BY FLAME....

Falling in-love is like getting by hit by a large truck and yet not being mortally wounded...Just sick to your stomach, high one minute and low the next....Starving hungry but unable to eat...Hot, cold, forever horny, full of life and enthusiasm, with momentary lapses of deppressions that wipe you out....it is not being able to remove the smile from your face, loving life with a mad, passionate intensity, and feeling ten years younger....love does not appear with any warning signs...you fall into it as if pushed from a high diving board..no time to think about what's happening...it's inevitable...an event you cant control...A crazy, heart-stopping, roller-coaster ride that just has to take its course....

We're deluded when we think we've fallen in-love with the most perfect person in all the world, when we exalt a lover's virtues and beauties and vow that we cannot live without them...the Greek philosophers understood that the object of our affection had nothing to do with it..Love descends like sickness, and under its spell we exaggerate our lover's attributes out of all proportions until the sickness is cured...Then our reason returns and we go on enjoying life....I know all about the Greek philosophers...They're the ones who believed it was impossible to love a woman at all....

Will says: "The Greek philosophers must've been lonely people. And, despite their several millenia old ramblings, I do love my sweet innocent Angel. But they're right about some things. Love DID descend upon me like a sickness. I DO exaggerate her attributes. I honestly believe she's the most beautiful woman that ever lived, and ever will live.
But, if having my reason return means that I can no longer see her for the wonderfull, caring, passionate, breathtakingly gorgeous woman she is...
Then there will be an empty niche left in me where my reason used to be.
Oh well. I'll fill it with love."
